Memorial Day at a glance, Chicago May 30, 2010

I know we all have seen and taken pictures of parades so many times before and it is hard to come up with unique images from any angle. But as soon as I heard the drums from my apartment this morning, I couldn’t help it. I ran with my camera to photograph the Memorial Day celebration in Chicago.

Here are my favorite images that I captured at Wacker Driver, a major street running along the side of the Chicago River.
