I just arrived in Mackinaw Island, where I took this picture from the Lake Huron at the very northern point of Michigan, U.S. Though it’s cold and icy, I think the scene is very serene and peaceful.

Just a quick trip with my daughter to visit a part of Michigan we haven’t been before. It’s spring break. I know it does not make sense to spend spring-break up North. Like birds, I decided to fly to North in a hope that spring and summer are coming soon. It did not happen and now I know why all birds haven’t gotten here yet. 🙂
