Woman on Windsor's streets by Georgete
I have been in Windsor twice. It is a small city with more than 1,000 years of history in South East England. First time, I went there for a two-day-business trip and I promised myself that I would visit it again but with my daughter.
So a couple years later, I went back. Though my daughter was only ten-years old, she still recalls our tour to Windsor, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and one of the official residences of Her Majesty The Queen.
I think what really impressed my daughter was the sinister and magical look of the castle’s galleries and its famous St George’s Chapel. Besides of being a beautiful building, the chapel is the burial place of at least ten monarchs.
By the way, it was fun to see some ladies dressed like centuries ago walking down the tiny streets of Windsor.

You can say anything you want about Seattle. It rains a lot, it’s muggy, soggy, you name it. In my opinion, Seattle is one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S. I’ve been there a couple times and was lucky for being able to capture the colorful aspect of the Rain City.

The Beauty of Shadows by Georgete
When I took this picture, I was looking for expressions that would genuinely reflect sentiments. I was surprised by the plastic effects of its shadows, though.
Somehow this image takes me beyond its intrinsic beauty. The contrast between darkness and brightness reminds me the ups and downs we all experience in life.
I mean, it makes me reflect about the fact that all of us have learned how to appreciate the bright side of life after gone through an unenlightened phase.
I know, I wish I had learned that without suffering too. However, as you can see in this picture (as well as in life) darkness plays an important role on helping the photo showing off its shiny portion.
At least, its a nice feeling to see darkness and its role from luminous lenses.

Here is our little Feijao watching TV at our new home in Chicago.
After spending the last five long-winters in the middle of nowhere in Michigan, he seems to enjoy the Windy City at his own pace, despite of its lively and turbulent streets.
I’m glad that we are all happy here.

In my opinion, there is no better way to reinvent yourself rather than starting a new life. It might take a lot for some people to change it completely, but everything starts with you taking control of your own destiny and not being afraid to face the unknown and uncertainties. Most importantly, you have to be comfortable as you move to the uncomfortable zone.
OK folks, long story short, I just moved to Chicago and I’m enjoying every single aspect of my new lifestyle, from personal to professional. Here is the view I have from my new office. Isn’t that gorgeous? What an inspiration for creating new things everyday! As you can feel it, I am very happy!
