I like reading all genres but my favorite one is (by far) “historical fiction.” It always fascinates me to know that the author has to go through a considerable amount of research to tell a story set in the past. In my opinion, Operação Cavalo de Tróia by Juan Jose Benitez it the best one I’ve ever read. It’s FANTASTIC! You must be patient to read the six volumes, though. If I’m not mistaken, they are available only in Portuguese and Spanish.

I’ve also enjoyed The Princes of Ireland: The Dublin Saga, by Edward Rutherfurd. Believe it or not, here is where I first learned about Saint Patrick’s influence in Europe and why his day is celebrated in the U.S. )

Other favorite books: Wild Swans; Old Path White Clouds; Naked Conversations; I Don’t Know How She Does It.
